titbits is a series of five ceramic figures exploring beauty, humor, glamour, and pleasure.
The name comes from "Herring Titbits", a delicacy I once shared with my father—small bites in a beautiful tin. That mix of indulgence and presentation carries into my work.
Each titbit is about eight centimeters tall, plays with the idea of perfection. They lack something—or have too much. How much can a body miss or exceed before its beauty is questioned?
Shaped in clay, adorned with gold, pearls, silver, and coral, the series features five characters: BORRY, BARRY, BERRY, BUFFY, and RO. Each tells its own story through form, attitude, and material.
